Back2School webinar programme 2024

was cancelled on 22 Febr 2024

Also in 2024 and still within the framework of the European “Lifelong Learning” policy, our organisation IBE-BIV (Belgian Illumination Institute) is organising a Back2School (B2S) webinar programme consisting of 5 monthly sessions each time taking place on Thursday from 9am until 10 am via Zoom.

This year we are focussing mainly on CIE Technical Notes. All technical notes can be downloaded freely from the CIE website.

Apart from the Blue LIght Hazard topic we have 4 experts who will each cover a subject in their particular area of expertise and on which a technical paper (Technical Note) was published and prepared by a Technical Committee.

We also like to give a voice to students by giving them the opportunity to introduce their research work to you. We have therefore invited 1 of our Student Award graduates who have been awarded for their work during last year’s IBE-BIV annual seminar.

This webinar programme is meant for our members and for anyone who wants to improve his or her basic knowledge on lighting in an easy and approachable way.

The target audience is very broad and can include professionals who have been active in the sector for years as well as employees that are starters in the lighting sector.
